Aston Martin has revealed it is to build a limited run of two exclusive CC100 Roadsters to celebrate its centenary year. Aston Martin’s last ‘Limited Edition’ was the £1 million plus One-77 which helped Aston put some much needed funds in their bank account. The One-77 was a custom made car with a custom made price but now, with Aston Martin celebrating its centenary year this year, they’re about to build a new concept car – the Aston Martin CC100 – that’s based on the V12 Vantage but with an open roadster body.
London's Royal Automobile Club (RAC) is hosting an exhibition of artwork created by students enrolled in the RCA's Vehicle Design program. The artwork is intended to complement the RAC's Future Car Challenge, which will take place tomorrow, Saturday November 5, the day before the historical London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. The challenge requires entrants to drive a 60-mile route from Brighton to London using the least amount of energy and will see a wide range of energy-efficient vehicles participate.

Michael Schumacher showed some of the promise for Mercedes 2012 F1 in Melbourne, setting the quickest time in damp Friday practice. With the first F1 Grand Prix of the 2012-2013 season taking place this Sunday at Melbourne’s Albert Park, we thought we’d look in at Friday’s practice to see if there are any clues to this year’s form.
